This Cartier Santos watch features a full set of D-color VVS grade moissanite diamonds, all hand-set by a professional testing pen. Moissanite diamonds have a refractive index of 2.65-2.69 (diamond 2.42), possessing the same adamantine luster as diamonds, but with a stronger “fire shine.” Its hardness is second only to diamonds. The setting technique uses a flower setting, unlike the common moissanite processing methods on the market, resulting in a very dense and seamless arrangement of stones, addressing a common customer concern regarding stone density. The watch is made of 316L stainless steel, with a 39.8mm case size and a sapphire crystal.
