Patek Philippe Calatrava Ref. 5057G Cortina Watch 50th Anniversary Calendar Moon Phase Watch: Vintage Clous de Paris Pattern

Atek Philippe has just launched a limited edition watch – the “Calatrava Ref. 5057G Cortina Watch 50th Anniversary” – specially designed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Singapore-based watch retailer Cortina Watch. The bezel is decorated with a vintage-style Clous de Paris pattern, reminiscent of classic watchmaking.

Since its founding in 1972, Cortina Watch has maintained a close partnership with Patek Philippe. In 1997, Patek Philippe released a 25th anniversary edition “Ref. 5057R” watch, which is the basis for this new design.

This timepiece features an 18K white gold case with a 36.5mm diameter, exuding a vintage charm. The wide bezel is adorned with three rings of Clous de Paris guilloché, the three-dimensional square nails displaying a faceted, gem-like effect under light—classic and striking.

The dark grey dial is sunburst-finished, and its asymmetrical layout is particularly unique—the outermost ring features vintage train track minute markers, Roman numeral hour markers extend from 9 to 3 o’clock, a small seconds subdial is at 5 o’clock, a date and moon phase display is at 7 o’clock, and a small power reserve indicator is at 10 o’clock. The rhodium-plated silver hands provide excellent legibility on the dark dial.
